Stay in one the most famous and beautiful cities in China. We have host families located in cities such as: Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangdong, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Xuzhou, Wuxi and more.
Flight and Accommodation
We take care of your travel arrangements, providing round-trip tickets or flight compensation. As part of the program, you'll enjoy the convenience of accommodation and meals covered by your host family. Rest assured, we carefully select families to ensure a perfect match for each participant, with a dedicated English-speaking member to facilitate communication. The Chinese host families offer a welcoming and comfortable living environment, providing you with your own room and the opportunity to experience a truly immersive cultural exchange.
Visa and Insurance
At Hongshan Au Pair, we provide comprehensive support to our Au Pairs throughout the application process, assisting you in obtaining the most suitable visa at overseas Chinese Embassies or Consulates.As part of our commitment to your well-being, we ensure that all Au Pairs are covered with travel, health, accident, liability, and other essential coverage. We also encourage you to purchase additional international insurance from your home country, but it is not required. Your safety and security are our top priorities as you embark on this exciting journey.
Monthly Spending Money
1500 RMB which is equal to about $220 USD.
Free Time and Vacation
We prioritize your work-life balance and ensure you have plenty of time to rest and explore. You will work a maximum of 6 hours per day, with at least 2 days off each week. Additionally, you are entitled to 3 paid vacation days every 3 months.It's important to discuss vacation days with your host family at least 1 week in advance, as each family has unique needs and arrangements. When the host family goes on trips you will have the opportunity to join them as a friend, sibling, and mentor to their children, allowing for valuable teaching moments and shared experiences along the way.
Au Pair Training
We ensure a smooth and welcoming start to your Au Pair journey. Upon arrival in China, we will be there with you to help you get settled in with your host family. To make your arrival hassle-free, simply provide us with your flight details, and either your host family or our staff will warmly greet you at the airport. Our local coordinator will guide you to get a SIM Card and check in at the police station within 24 hours.
Certification
Au Pair's who successfully completes our program will receive a completion certificate as recognition of your achievement.
Chinese Cultural / Language Courses
The host family will cover the cost of Chinese language classes for you. These classes are offered at a minimum of 2 lessons per week, and the specifics will be finalized upon contract signing. You will be placed in the appropriate class based on your Chinese proficiency level. You can start from the basics and even receive textbooks without any additional cost. Unlike other programs that can range from $4,000 to $15,000, our courses are better tailored to each individual and completely free to you.It's important to note that while the knowledge you gain from these classes is valuable, the true advantage lies in living in China and being immersed in the culture with your host family. Additionally, you will receive a certification upon completing the Chinese language course, which can greatly benefit your career or future academic pursuits. With Chinese being spoken by 20% of the world population, you will likely encounter the language across the globe. Given the rapid growth of China, proficiency in Chinese has become an increasingly important skill for global communication and offers access to the world's largest market.

We provide 24 hour emergency contact services, local police registration support, visa extension and assistance, and extensive introduction resources before arrival.
